Weekly Gatherings

• Wednesdays – Bible Study, evenings on Campus, 6:30 PM Lee Wicker lobby
• Sunday Liturgy – 6 PM at the Oratory; often followed by a Drop-in where we partake in good food and good conversation.

Other Gatherings

• Movie Nights – An evening of relaxing and fun with friends at the movies
• Oratory Community Meals – At least once a semester we join the Oratory’s Sunday evening community to share a meal after Mass.

Retreats

Various retreats are offered each semester. Each offer great opportunities for spiritual growth and reflection.

• Newman Winthrop Overnight Retreats - Usually held once early each semester, overnight retreats for Winthrop’s Newman group are held within walking distance of campus.  From Friday night until Saturday morning, enjoy food, friendship, and quiet time for spiritual growth with other Winthrop students.
• Diocesan College Retreats – These diocesan events are the prime opportunity to get away and truly retreat from campus life.  For a weekend, take this opportunity to get to know other college students from across the state while learning and reflecting on your faith.
